Privacy

PrayogShala is designed to work without collecting personal information about you.

What we store

Your experiment readings and progress are saved locally in your own web browser (using its built-in storage). This data stays on your device. It is not sent to us, and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser data removes it.

The same storage keeps a few small preferences so the site does not ask twice: your colour theme, whether you have already sent feedback, and whether you dismissed the hardware acceleration notice. The hardware acceleration check itself runs entirely in your browser; its result is not sent anywhere.

What we do not do

We do not ask you to create an account, we do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not sell any data. Apart from feedback you choose to send (see below), nothing is shared with anyone. There is no third-party analytics that identifies you.

Usage statistics

To know how PrayogShala is used, we count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies or store anything in your browser, and it does not record your name, what you type, or your screen. The counts are used only to improve PrayogShala and to report how widely it is used.

Hosting

The site is served by a hosting provider that may keep standard, short-lived technical logs (such as IP address) for security and reliability. These are used only to run the service.

Feedback

The feedback form is optional. If you fill it in, your answers are saved to a Google Sheet that only the PrayogShala team can open, together with the time and the page you sent it from. The form does not ask for your name, email or roll number, so please leave them out of the written answers too. Feedback is used only to improve PrayogShala.

The Sheet is stored with Google, which handles it under Google's privacy policy. To have a response removed, write to the contact address below with roughly when you sent it and what it said.

The simulations need WebGL 2, which isn’t available in this browser right now. Turning on hardware acceleration usually brings it back; if not, update the browser or the graphics driver.
